Yes, I have moved Woodys Web Page to a new Server, I got some space on the RhyDin internet. Anyway if your reading this for the first time and wonder where is Rhydin, and what is the profile of a small mythical creature doing up here. Well, I can only say, You've run across a Role Playing Web Page. There is gonna be some factual stuff on here, sooner or later, but for right now this page and some of the others linked to it, will be up to tell some about my characters in the Red Dragon Inn setting, in the World of Rhydin. So before you go out and start looking for where Rhydin is let me tell you, Rand McNally does not make a map that can get you there. It is a texted based Role Playing and Writing forum. I'll provide links at the bottom.

Now about the tree sprite. First I should go back and tell alittle about Woody. Woody is some six inches tall, he wears no clothing, as do all tree sprites, so he has NO Tanlines. His general appearence is that of an elven boy around eight or nine years old. He has a light olive complexion, and dark brown hair and eyes. His hair has never been combed, so it is untamed, too the ends of his hair lighten alittle in summertime. While Woody is also one of the faery folk that flies, he does not have wings, in fact his mode of flight is something akin to telekinesis. Most small faery avoid tall folk (us and the like) Woody is curious about the world of the tall folk. Not to mention that Woody lives in exile from his native world, so he bothers the tall folk of RhyDin instead. In RhyDin, Woody lives on a patch of land he calls The Reserve or sometimes he calls it his forest, it's actually around a thousand acres of wooded forest where he experiments breeding new animal species into existance. The Reserve is 13 kilometers North North West of RhyDin City, and best avoided since all the flesh eating sheep are free range.

I've added this small picture of Woody, look left, to kind of let folks have something to work on, getting a idea of Woody. I have also decided NOT to put his larger picture up on the web, as it is a full, frontal, nude, of the lil' dude. Now about Woodys true origins, Woody was originally an NPC (Non Player Character) in a Rifts game back around 1991. I decided to call him Woody for two reasons, one tree sprites live in the woods... woody ... Woody. And because my maternal grandfathers nickname was in fact Woody. The wildest fact about Woody is that he was almost called Leaf. When, then seven year old Timmy Ballance, decided he wanted to game with the grown ups he got to take over playing the small sprite. Sprites where tough lil creatures, and this allowed Tim some game time with a character that would not die in seconds of entering the game. Needless to say, Tim went on to play other characters as he got older, and Woody became my property once again. However, the tree sprites adventures did not end there. I write my own games, everything, not just the game, but the world, the system and mechanics, everything! So Woody would pop up from time to time in all kinds of Role Playing Games. Even as I often scrap, much to the dismay of the players of my campains, game worlds or systems to make new ones, Woody shows up sooner or later in that new world. Thus it was only fitting that when I started Free Form Role Playing about six years ago, that Woody eventually make his way to RhyDin. So you might say, Woody was been annoying Rhydin since 2003!
